Bluocean Photography

  Hi my name is Val and photography is coarsing through my veins. I hope you like some of the images posted here.

After emigrating from the UK to Australia in 1981 and settling on the Central Coast of New South Wales my images are mainly of family, friends, collegues, and views of the area. As the blog grows and I get more aquainted with it, some experimental stuff will be tried.

I use an Olympus E300 DSLR with two lenses and some filters. Digital photography was embraced only a year or two ago. After many years working black and white photography from a darkroom set up in the laundry, the change was inevitable. Especially as I am involved in publishing. Far easier these days to publish images from the digital divide than processing images in the darkroom, scanning, and manipulating them electronically.
