Ten examples of digital manipulation

Have you mastered photoshop yet? We are now at CS4 and a brave new world has opened up when it comes to digital manipulation. A question you should ask yourself when seeing images in magazines or even mainstream press, “Is this image a true reflection of the subject?”

Mainly this type of masterly disguise is done for creativity in advertising but some picture editors and even landscape photographers will add or subtract digitally to provide a more emotive image. Those of you who use photoshop will know what can be done. None of the above images I can claim as my own, but I am working on it. Photoshop is fairly in-depth and as a ‘teach yourself sorta bloke’ it will probably be version 10 before I master version 2.
